Randomness - Photo Edition

Warning: This post has no point

I am working on the girl's jacket. Should be finished tomorrow...maybe Sunday...

Won't be much to say. She's getting the exact jacket that I have but without the back loop and with different bias tape! :)

Her bias tape (this stuff is now addicting to make!)

I *really* like this pattern!! I got tons of compliments on this top.

This may be my first Style Arc pattern. Let's see what the July freebie is!

Cynthia Rowley designer version of S2443. Uhmmm...that model is missing an appendage.

Should I make the Simplicity jacket or the Burda jacket first?? hmmm...

Yes. This. This exactly.

What foolishness is this?
Is this NOT the cutest thing ever?!?!?!?!? She's helping me work

  2. What is it? Am I wrong in thinking I'm seeing this? Ah baby! You sound like my daughter about her hair. The beautician informed her that she could not dye her hair every week. It's so cute to see this. At the rate you are going, you'll be about 95 before yours look like mine. All smiles!

  3. Isn't photoshopping hilarious? I love the Lego Woman. Where did you get the red fabric? I love Style Arc patterns. Shipping is crazy high and it takes a while to get them-but they are nice patterns. I got my first grat hair at 19. Now, I have a gray patch right in the front of my head. Don't worry, it doesn't grow in that fast--we just think it does. A few creative touches--bangs, mascara, headbands, etc.--and poof it's gone.

  4. I started seeing gray hairs at 23. Don't let those few strands bother you. It means you have Wisdom!

  7. Ha ha ha ha ha. OMG do NOT do that to me! I was eating my cereal and reading along all nice-like and then you hit me with the gray hair. Hahaha. I choked. seriously. It was too funny. I'm 35, I've had a few pop up already and each one hits you just as hard. That's what hair dye is for!

Love the top, and the bias tape - looking forward to the jacket :D

  10. Had to look twice at the amputee model. Takes inclusive advertising to a whole new level. I need more wine...

I keep gazing at the style arc patterns too, and your top & Lego scientist are awesome. (Everything is awesome...)

  13. I made peace with gray hair LONG ago. I'm still in for the Simplicity jacket! I made a muslin a couple of years ago that's screaming for attention. =)

  14. I'll see your one tiny grey hair and raise you three much longer ones! :p Seriously, though -- if I had one tiny grey hair like that I would totally pluck it. Vain, vain, vain -- but effective.

I just jumped into the Style Arc pool this month! Wasn't crazy about the free pattern for June, but really wanted to try the Jilly Jeans. Their new shorts patterns are right on the money, though ...
